Lightwire technicians have restored connectivity at our transmission site. Unfortunately, the outage appears to have been caused by vandalism to our equipment. Technicians have repaired the site to enable the restoration of services, but further maintenance will be required in the coming weeks.

[2026-07-10 01:07:06 NZST] Lightwire engineers are aware of an equipment fault at our Kati Kati transmission site that will be causing an outage to your service. Unfortunately, they have been unable to remotely remediate the problem. Lightwire technicians will attend site as soon as possible in the morning to investigate the issue further.

Lightwire engineers have successfully diagnosed and and resolved the outage affecting the Manawahe site.

Connections served by this site should now have recovered and there is no further impact expected.
