Lightwire has discovered some issues with the power plant at the site that hosts your internet connection. Technicians are on their way to the site to remedy the issues. In order to safely resolve the issues, Lightwire technicians will have to turn the site off to complete the works.

Customers will experience a loss of service while we work to resolve the issue. We apologise for the late notice and hope to get you back up and running as soon as you can.

Katikati Update: Lightwire Technicians are on-site and have restored services. They will be remaining on-site to ensure no further outages but we do not expect any further disruptions.

[2022-02-03 16:48:23 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have investigated a fault at your tower but are unable to resolve it due to a critical piece of equipment failure. [2022-02-03 15:37:20 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers are currently investigating a possible fault at our Katikati transmission site causing an outage to your connection. Lightwire Engineers have been made aware of a continued Mains outage to our Hanga Road Repeater. While this was in conjunction with planned power works in the area they have not been restored. We are working hard to resolve this but in the event of a prolonged outage, the site could lose power completely, resulting in a complete loss of service.

In the event, this does happen a Lightwire Technician will attend the site tomorrow morning due to health and safety.
