Horsham Downs - Site Offline

Lightwire engineers have identified a number of key communication equipment damaged by lightning strikes last night. The equipment and cables are being replaced currently, this will take some time to replace but we will have the site back up and running as soon as possible.

[2022-10-13 22:12:26 NZDT] Lightwire engineers are investigating an issue with our Horsham Downs transmission site which has gone offline after a power failure. Unfortunately, in this instance we have been unable to remotely troubleshoot. Lightwire technicians will be monitoring site tomorrow morning for mains power restoration.

Service Degradation - Arapuni Region

Lightwire has been made aware of a link dropping offline in the Arapuni region. Affected customers are expected to have reduced speeds while connections operate over backup links until a Lightwire Technician can visit our transmission site to restore the link.

Your speeds should return to normal once this link has been restored but if you have any connection issues past the point of the incident being resolved, please reboot your Lightwire equipment at the property.

Tower Sector Outage - Pukemoremore

Lightwire has been made aware of an unplanned outage in the Pukemoremore region. Affected customers will unfortunately have complete loss of service until our field team can visit the transmission site to replace a piece of faulty equipment.

Your connection should restore automatically once the equipment has been replaced. If you have any connection issues past the point of the outage being resolved, please reboot your Lightwire equipment at the property.

Unplanned Incident - Intermittent Packet Loss

Customers may be experiencing packet loss or slow speeds and drops in connectivity due to backhaul performance degradation.

Lightwire core engineers have identified the issue and are working with the backhaul upstream provider on the investigation and resolution.
