Notification of Unplanned Carrier Outage

An upstream provider has alerted us to a fault they're currently working to restore, this has resulted in total loss of service. We will keep you updated as the incident progresses.

If your connection remains offline after the specified outage period, please reboot all on-site equipment. If your connection remains offline after this step, please do not hesitate to contact our support number on 0800 12 13 14.

Unplanned Outage - Houchens Road Transmission Site

Lightwire Engineers are currently investigating a possible fault at our Houchens Road transmission site, causing an outage to your connection. We will be working hard to get you back on line as soon as we can! Adjacent sites will be using back up pathways until this is resolved. Unplanned Event - Mains Power Outage - Lichfield Tower Site

Lightwire has been informed of an outage to mains power supplying the Lichfield Tower site. Battery Backup at the site looks to have failed as well, so the Tower will be currently offline. Subsequently some adjacent transmissions sites that connect through this Lichfield Tower will also be offline until connection at Lichfield can be restored. Connection at the Tower and connecting Sites has been restored, however our engineers believe they have identified some faulty network equipment on site, and so we will be replacing the faulty equipment proactively.

There will be a disruption to your connection for up to 30mins, while this equipment is replaced this afternoon.

A Technician has attended the site, and the faulty equipment has been successfully replaced. If your connection is still offline after this, please reboot all equipment, and then contact us on 0800 12 13 14 for futher troubleshooting.
