While our site has backup battery power, there is a chance that in the event of an extended outage, or factors outside of Lightwire's control, you may lose your connection. [2023-02-01 15:40:28 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers are currently investigating a fault affecting one sector of our Kairangi transmission site. Connections will remain offline until this fault is resolved.

After investigation from our rural engineering team early signs are pointing to a complete power failure on site. We are unable to send Field Technicians out tonight but will visit first thing tomorrow morning Wednesday 1st February.

[2023-01-28 13:23:34 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have become aware of a fault on our transmission links, at our Tirohia and Henry Watson Road Sites. This is affecting serviceability for these areas. Engineers are currently investigating the root cause, but until a fix is implemented, you may experience intermittent connection quality and degraded service. Adjacent sites of Kaimai Ranges and Wairakau may experience some degraded services while these sites use back up pathways.
