[2023-03-23 14:18:39 NZDT] Lightwire engineers and technicians have identified the faulty equipment and have replacement equipment en route to site now from Hamilton.

We apologise for this disruption to service but hope to have the site running again soon.

[2023-03-23 13:49:06 NZDT] Lightwire engineers have been made aware of an issue with our Waipapa & Te Akau Repeater Transmission Sites. The cause of this fault is currently under investigation. We are working hard to get your connection up and running again.

Lightwire Technicians have attended the site and replaced the faulty gear. This should be all resolved now.

History:

[2023-03-22 15:42:23 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have become aware of a fault at one of our repeater sites affecting it's stability. Engineers are currently investigating the root cause, but until a fix is implemented, you may experience intermittent connection quality.

Lightwire Technicians will be dispatched to address this fault tomorrow.

Mains Power to the Site returned at 1.45pm Today, and all connections to this site have been restored.

History:

[2023-03-18 09:27:21 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have been made aware of a mains power issue at our Hutchinson Transmission site. The site has lost Mains Power due to a carrier outage, and has since drained its battery backups. Connections will be currently offline. Connections will come back up on their own, once the Site has Mains Power restored. The Mains Power Carrier estimates that power will be restored by 2023-03-18 12:15:00.
