[2024-08-23 08:42:17 NZST] The upstream provider has undertaken works last night, but these did not resolve the issue. They are re-attending the site today to take further action. They have not yet provided an ETR for those works. We will provide any updates here as they come through.

[2024-08-20 16:51:25 NZST] The Upstream carrier has provided an update here. The cause of the outage is a damaged networking cabinet.

They've stated multiple LT Cards have been damaged in the cabinet and they are now awaiting replacements that are expected to be delivered by 21/08/2024

Technicians are still working at site by rebuilding the damaged cabinet for a fix. No current ETA

Emergency Maintenance - Minor Outage

Lightwire Engineers are currently investigating a fault at our Taupiri transmission site that we are preemptively replacing equipment for.

This will cause a short outage to your connection while equipment is replaced.

A Fibre cabinet has been impacted by a vehicle. Technicians have been dispatched to perform a site assessment. Following the site assessment, we will undertake a course of action to repair the cabinet. Please be aware that there is the potential for services to be impacted by ongoing repairs. No ETR yet.

Unplanned Outage - Kaimai Ranges

Lightwire engineers have been made aware of an issue with our Kaimai Ranges 2 tower this morning. A single sector of the site appears to have dropped offline for a yet unknown reason. Lightwire Engineers will be working hard to restore this, and get your connections up and running again.
