[2025-10-03 02:09:41 NZDT] One of the DWDM fibre paths has been restored at 1.57 AM, and services should be recovering. We’re continuing to work with the upstream DWDM fibre provider and are monitoring path stability closely.

[2025-10-03 02:02:02 NZDT] We’re currently experiencing a major outage in Tauranga due to multiple fibre faults with our fibre provider. This is impacting all Tauranga services. Our engineers are working closely with the provider to restore service as quickly as possible. We’ll share updates as soon as we have more information.

[2025-10-03 01:52:32 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers are investigating a potential issue affecting Lightwire services. We don't have much detail just yet sorry, but senior engineers are looking into it with urgency and we will provide more information as soon as possible.

Latest update:

The Lightwire Technician was able to replace the faulty gear at the Tower, and restore connectivity. Things have remained stable since, so we are not expecting any further disruptions.

[2025-09-29 20:01:44 NZDT] Lightwire Engineers have been notified of a fault at one of our Kaiaua based transmission sites causing an outage to your connection. We have been unable to remotely bring services back online, Lightwire technicians will be dispatched to our Kaiaua site early morning to investigate and replace faulty equipment.
