Lightwire has been informed of an outage to mains power supplying the Hillside Hotel transmission site. While our site has backup battery power there is a chance that in the event of an extended outage or factors outside of Lightwire's control you may lose your connection. In the event of complete loss of power, adjacent tower sites of Orini and Hillside East will use backup routing and may see a reduction of speed as a result. Lightwire technicians have replaced the faulty equipment and services have been restored to normal. We do not expect any further disruptions.

[2023-05-02 08:31:57 NZST] Lightwire Engineers have identified the piece of equipment that has failed on site. Lightwire technicians will be attending site with replacement gear as soon as possible this morning to investigate and remediate the issue.

[2023-05-02 08:08:53 NZST] Lightwire engineers have been made aware of an issue with our Te Kawa Tower this morning. The site appears to have dropped offline for a yet unknown reason. Lightwire Engineers will be working hard to restore this, and get your connections up and running again.
